Resident Evil 4 Remake announced, coming March 24th 2023!
After Resident Evil 2 and 3, the next Resi remake is already just around the corner: Resident Evil 4 was announced as a modernised remake version at Sony's State of Play event at the beginning of June 2022 - with a trailer worth watching, which you can see here. And yes, don't worry, the remake of Resident Evil 4 is also coming to PC on March 24th 2023 (something Sony has been known to keep from us most of the time at State of Play).
The remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 were so well received that Capcom naturally wouldn't miss the opportunity to re-release Resident Evil 4 in a pimped-up and contemporary form. Before we start a discussion about which Resident Evil is the best part of the series, let's be perfectly honest: Resident Evil 4 is considered one of the best of the series and perhaps one of the best games ever made. Being able to experience the fourth part soon with completely new graphics and probably also some new gameplay features will make fans of the horror series happy. After all, this is not just a remaster, but a completely revised remake.
Once again, in the new Resident Evil 4, you set out as special agent Leon S. Kennedy to free the kidnapped daughter of the President, Ashley Graham. In a remote European village, Leon fights various hideous creatures infested with parasites. And then, in addition to the aggressive villagers, a mysterious sect makes life difficult for Leon. It seems that a bioweapon has done some terrible damage here.
Resident Evil 4 Remake will launch next year on March 24th 2023 and will be available soon on Gamesplanet.
